Description
Sous Chef required for the 3* Shillingford Bridge Hotel, Oxfordshire.
Situated next to the River Thames The Shillingford Bridge Hotel enjoys a fine location in the heart of Oxfordshire. The hotel comprises of 40 bedrooms and three versatile function rooms catering for up to 150 guests. The Riverview Restaurant provides an elegant dining experience overlooking a fantastic view of the Thames. This a 3 star hotel with a busy Food.
Operating with a well equipped and modern kitchen and ample storage your responsibilities will include;
• Assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety
• Junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved
• Maintain all company standards and the running of the kitchen.
• To be responsible for Rostering, stock taking, menu development and food costing and achieving weekly budgeted food gross profit
• To be responsible for Menu Creation, with support of Head Chef, inline with Company Standards
Requirements
Reporting directly to the Head Chef, The ideal sous chef will have good quality 3, 4 or 5 star hotel experience or worked within quality restaurants with a busy customer foot flow and high volume food turnover.
