Description
Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie required for the Forest Dale Hotel, Brockenhurst, Hampshire.
The following gives an indication to the job role but is by no means limited to these takes only:
- Cleaning tasks to be carried out thoroughly
- Dealing with various guest demands
- Service/Prepare conference and banqueting items
- Producing Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Conference/Banqueting dishes to hotel standards
- Ensure safety at all times to guests, staff and hotel generally
- Willing to undertake any relevant training as directed by management
- Adhere to all health and safety and security policies/procedures
Requirements
Reporting directly to the Head Chef, the successful candidate will ideally have proven experience of excellent kitchen skills and a spotless eye for detail.
Experience in a similar role is not essential as training and development can be given to the successful candidate showing the key attributes required:
Self motivated, passionate and able to deliver exceptional kitchen skills
Able to prepare high quality food for all service levels
Hold a calm and collective manner and be able to cope when under pressure
Deputise within the department in the absence of the Head Chef
Understand the kitchen ordering process and restrictions
