Description

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for handling all conference and event enquiries, converting them into confirmed bookings and then liaising with the client right through to the day of the event and follow-up after.

With the support of the Business Development Manager and hotel team, you will work on driving conversion, through your confident sales and negotiation skills.

As an experienced Sales Co-Ordinator, you will have the ability to seek new business prospects and nurture existing accounts alongside the Business Development Manager.

Requirements

You should have previous conference co-ordination experience within a similar environment and role, and a good working knowledge of room reservations.

You will have a bright personality, be sales driven and customer focused.  Good customer care skills are a must and you should be able to deal with our customers over the telephone and face to face in a pleasant and efficient manner.

It is essential you are organised and have a good level of literacy and numeracy. You must have an excellent telephone manner and clear spoken English.

It is vital you are confident in creating good working relationships through the accuracy of your work and your good customer service skills, in order to achieve repeat business. 

As Sales & Events Co-Ordinator you must have excellent attention to detail and will work closely with the hotel team to handover every detail of your client’s booking to ensure a smooth running event.
