Job Description
As a Resort Manager Tour Ops with Crystal Ski you are responsible for all aspects of the tour operation in your resorts. A highly responsible and rewarding role that requires a high level of experience in resort operations in the ski industry.
You will manage a team of Ski Reps and Head Reps to ensure that the Crystal Ski product is delivered to our customers at a great standard. Sales targets and customer service questionnaire targets must be met and exceeded under your management. You will develop good relations with third party suppliers and have a great knowledge of the resorts you are responsible for and the whole of the Crystal ski operation and product.
We need people who really know the package ski holiday industry inside and out, people with proven management ability, who know how to motivate, inspire and lead a team to success, people capable of ensuring our customers will want to return time and time again.
Resort Manager Tour Ops work long hours, deal with difficult situations and must have a passion for ski. Applicants for this role must have people management experience and will ideally have experience working in a ski resort environment. They will be motivated by working to targets and able to instil this enthusiasm in their team. The role encompasses sales, customer service, problem solving, admin skills, IT skills, accountancy skills and masses of organisational ability.

Requirements
- Previous management experience
- Customer service experience working with a diverse range of customer profiles
- Experience within a target sales environment where you have worked to individual and team set targets
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an enthusiastic and positive manner
- Mature and flexible approach with the ability to adapt to any situation
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of hard working Ski Reps and Head Reps
Desirable
- Second language to a conversational level in either French, German, Spanish or Italian
- Previous experience of work in the travel industry.
- Ability and confidence to drive in a ski resort environment.
- Ability to ski or snowboard confidently with guests down red runs
