Description
We are currently seeking experienced Porters to work in a busy, fast paced hospital environment. We have a variety of shift patterns so please indicate your availability on the online application form.
At Resource Network we want to give you the opportunity to work at Chase Farm Hospital .
Your role will be to provide a domestic service in accordance with the service level agreement for Domestic Services at the Hospital.
In your role your duties will involve the transportation of patients, deceased patients, medical gas cylinders (including the exchange and checking of flow meters), equipment, stores, furniture, pharmaceutical and pathology items, mail, refuse and linen, case notes, some of which duties can be heavy.
You will be responsible for carrying out the assigned tasks involved in maintaining and ensuring high hospital standards are achieved. The post holder must an enthusiastic, team player with a positive attitude. You will be hard working, committed with a fully flexible approach towards your work.
Please note all positions within the hospital environment will be subject to an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check.

Requirements
All candidates must possess excellent customer service skills with a keen eye for details and the desire to surpass targets. Previous experience would be an advantage.
You are expected to have good command of the English language with the ability to communicate at all levels
