In the space of 6 weeks in the Summer of 2012, Leisure Support Services have the opportunity to work at Wimbledon, and the chance for you to get involved in the biggest sporting summer ever to hit these shores.
The Wimbledon Championships will be held in June and July, and once again we will see the grounds of SW19 packed for the world’s most prestigious tennis event.
Then, only 3 weeks later, the greatest sporting festival in the world is coming to Britain, and we will once again be involved to deliver a memorable experience to the millions of guests at the 2012 tennis events.

We will also be working at other 2012 venues including Earls Court, Excel, Lords, City of Coventry Stadium, and Bus and Fleet Depots. Please indicate your second preferences of venue as we might offer you work at one of these venues after you finish with us at The Championships.

The Wimbledon Night Housekeeping Staff are responsible for getting the venue back to it's 5 Star standard ready for the next day. This Job will require hard work and dedicated individuals who will work through the night.
Reporting to a Night Team Leader, the Night Housekeeper will:
- Be deployed into one of a variety of roles, focusing on either arena bowls, kitchen floorcare, external surfaces, or internal office and suties.
- Work in a team to detail clean all allocated areas.
- Use cleaning equipment and machinery where required.
- Ensure standards and adherences to procedures are maintained.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Requirements
The requirements of this position include:
- Taking instruction from management.
- Working as part of a team.
- Being punctual and presentable.
- Being able to work overnight.
Those employed in this position will:
- Maintain the highest standard of personal presentation.
- Be enthusiastic and encouraging.
- Work well under pressure.
- Work hard and effectively.
