The Logistics and Stores team are pivotal to the success of The Championships every food, beverage and non food item needs to be moved safely around the 28 acre site either by hand/ forklift or lorry. 
For the right candidate it is an exciting and challenging opportunity to experience how a major event operates behind the scenes for 15 days and 24 hours a day; it is a physically demanding but rewarding role.  A knowledge of food and beverage is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.  Candidates who hold a forklift/electrical pallet truck license would be of a particular benefit.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all required tasks are completed in a timely manner
2. Lift and carry food and equipment up to a weight of 15kg. 
3. Assist in the unloading of deliveries and equipment – check and sign for deliveries  
4. Assemble pallets of food and beverage for delivery to units  
5. Deliver and collect goods from units. 
6. Ensure working areas are kept clean and tidy
7. Comply with all Company policies including site rules, health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
8.  Arrive at work on time and in the correct uniform. 
9. Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by management. 
10. Operate in an honest, helpful and friendly manner towards customers and colleagues.
