Winter Wonderland in Lapland
Come and work in a beautiful winter wonderland for 3 months! Skiing, snow-shoeing, husky riding, and watching The Northern Lights are just some of the acitivities which you could experience.
As a Chalet Host your responsibilities will include overseeing the smooth running of your chalet providing catering and housekeeping for guests whilst keeping within the set budgets.
You will provide exceptional guest care, excellent quality meals and present your chalet to a high standard for up to 12 guests.
This involves preparing breakfast, afternoon tea and a four course evening meal including canapés, plus daily housekeeping and entertaining your guests. We are are looking for individuals and friends/couples.
It will be expected that as a Chalet Host you will have a passion for good food and excellent guest service. You should have a friendly and outgoing personality, hold excellent communication skills and be highly organised as you may have several transfer days a week.
As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with luggage and lifting.
Requirements
Required experience:
- Previous catering experience and/or recognised cookery course qualification essential
- Hospitality and customer service experience essential
- Previous seasonal work an advantage
- EU passport holders only, with UK residency and permanent UK National Insurance number
