Kiosk Assistants work in the concourse areas within the stadium serving guests that are attending the match or event. Working as part of a team that is directed by a team leader and supervisor you will aim to go above and beyond customer expectations to ensure that all customers have an enjoyable experience at Manchester United on match days. The main role is to serve food and drink to customers before and during the game. As well as this all company cash handling, stock, and health and safety procedures must be followed.
As far as possible each team member is allocated to work in the same kiosk for each game. However business needs may require you to relocate to another area for any event or match day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explaining menu and products available if required.
- Taking orders and serving food and beverages to customers.
- Cash handling and using the till system.
- Stock taking, following stock rotation and replenishment procedures.
- Ensuring that all areas are cleaned and tidied at the end of each shift.
- Dealing with customer requests and queries.
Requirements
Knowledge, Experience and Attitude
Essential
- Able to speak and understand spoken and written English
- Possess basic numeracy skills
- Happy to work in a customer service environment
- Team player
- Happy to take direction
Desirable
- Experience of food and cash handling
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Basic Health and Safety
