ExCel London will be hosting world class boxing, fencing, judo, taekwondo, weightlifting, wrestling, and table tennis during the Olympics and world class boccia, table tennis, judo, powerlifting, volleyball and fencing during the Paralympics.
The greatest sporting festival in the world is coming to Britain, and we are looking for the greatest people in the world to deliver a memorable experience for the millions of visitors who will descend on the UK.
The Compass Brand will be right there to deliver catering and cleaning services while the world looks on.
We will also be working at other 2012 Olympic venues including Earls Court, Lords, City of Coventry Stadium, and Bus and Fleet Depots (located around London). Please indicate your second preference of venue as we might be able to offer you work at one of these venues.

*16 July - 27 July Olympic Pre-Clean & Preparation
*28 July – 12 August Olympic Games
*13 August - 29 August Paralympic Pre-Clean & Preparation
*30 August – 8 September Paralympic Games
*8 September – 30 September Post-Clean
Requirements
Reporting to an Area Supervisor, the Housekeeper will:
- Perform housekeeping tasks in various areas including but not limited to public areas, VIP areas, washrooms, and offices
- Ensure your assigned areas are kept clean and presentable at all times, by way of litter picking, dusting, wiping, mopping and scrubbing surfaces
- Ensure washrooms are kept clean and presentable at all times
- Restock consumables as and when required
- Detail-clean your areas upon close of play
- Coordinate the recycling process, collection and movement of materials
- Attend to urgent cleaning calls as and when necessary
- Ensure rubbish bins in your area are maintained and removed when full
- Assist in cleaning the arena bowl at the close of play
- Ensure standards and adherences to procedures are maintained
- Comply with all relevant health and safety regulat
