Creativevents, the food and drink Company, are seeking an Assistant Operations Manager, with experience at Junior Supervisor level within retail and hospitality catering, for our catering contract at Brooklands Museum.
Brooklands Museum is the home of British motor racing and boasts a thriving day visitor catering business as well as providing catering for events, weddings and functions. We operate the Sunbeam Cafe on a daily basis, catering for visitors of the museum with coffees, lunch and afternoon teas, as well as the Members’ Bar and function rooms. We also operate retail catering for events attracting up to 5000 visitors.

Reporting to the General Manager the successful candidate will need to be very hands on with a positive 'can do’ attitude, ambitious and passionate about delivering exceptional results in a growing business. They will need to be able to lead small groups of staff and effectively deal with customers and clients. The main responsibilities will be organising set up for hospitality and outdoor events, supervising the Sunbeam Cafe in the absence of the Cafe Supervisor and assisting in the management of hospitality events. The role will involve evening and weekend work so flexibility is essential.
