Since 1814, The Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's Cricket Ground, has been recognised as one of the most famous, prestigious and exclusive members clubs in the world, especially in sporting arenas. In the world of cricket, Lord's is regarded as the ultimate venue, a Mecca for cricket players and fans to visit each year and enjoy the unique experience.
Lord's is the only ground in the country that has two 5 day Test matches as well as two One Day Internationals, the Friend's Provident Trophy Final and three Twenty/20 games.
We are looking for bar staff/cellar hands and logistics porters are able to work only on these days. You will be working directly for the Marylebone Cricket Club, which has a fantastic reputation as a progressive and supportive employer.
Job details: Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager and Public Bars Manager you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality standards of food and beverage service within our busy Public Bar areas.
Responsibilities:
* Set up and pack down of bars and correct procedures in relation to stock control
* Complete care of equipment and stock used in events and cricket matches
* Liaison with guests to ensure the Lord’s experience is of world class standard
* Working as a team member within the entire department and the M.C.C.
* Ensure all Health and Safety procedures are followed and at best practice
* Cost effective and efficient work practices at all times
* Cash handling according to M.C.C. procedures |
