Description
We are looking to recruit experienced chefs to work in some of the most luxurious chalets in the French Alps.
This is a very rewarding role with full responsibility for the catering service in your allocated chalet.
The emphasis in this role is the ability to draw on your own experience and creativity to design and deliver a luxury chalet catering experience of the highest possible standard.
Main Responsibilities
- Menu design and planning
- Placing of food orders
- Preparation and service of breakfast, lunch or dinner, depending on the clients needs and requirements.
- Catering for all guests special dietary requirements
- Catering for all requests for special occasions
- Food hygiene and general health and safety in the kitchen and dining areas
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and presentable
- Assisting with the maintenance of all kitchen facilities and equipment
- Planning and preparation of staff meals
An interview will be followed by a cook test as part of your interview process.
Requirements
Skills and abilities required:
- Recognised catering qualification or extensive experience
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Fluent English with conversational French (preferred)
* You will be required to attend a cook test in London prior to securing employment*
- Full clean driving licence
