We are currently looking for Commis Chefs to join our Central London teams.
The main responsibilities of the Commis Chefs are:
* To create 100% customer satisfaction by preparing quality food products
* Assists with all hot and cold food preparation, including banquets when necessary
* Helps to assure that all kitchen personnel and servers are aware of specials, plate presentations and prices
* Gives personal attention and takes personal responsibility to uses teamwork when providing guest service
* Helps to organise and maintain work areas, coolers and storage areas
* Prepares work checklist and organizes workstations for each shift
* Assists personnel in checking coolers and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity and quality of food products
* Insures that proper plate presentation and requisitioning procedures are followed |

The successful candidate:
* Has a good level of food & beverage product knowledge, and an understanding of food preparation techniques
* Has good command of the English language. Has three months minimum experience working in the kitchen
* Can use a knife and other kitchen tools/implements properly
* Understands and follows basic health and hygiene procedures
* Understands and follows basic food storage procedures
1 year's previous experience would be highly advantageous. |
