Food is a key part of Kick Ski holidays. Our guests have high standards and equally high expectations regarding the quality of the food they will be served. It is therefore down to our chef to meet, and frequently exceed, these expectations by providing high-quality meals, six days per week.
Duties will include:
* Leading the planning and preparation of all guest food to time and to budget. You will be expected to provide high quality meals for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner (four courses), six days per week
* Ensuring high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
* Preparation of simple weekly accounts, showing the total food spend each week
* Once a week, travelling to shop for food and other supplies |

Essential Skills and Attributes
You must have the following skills and attributes in order to successfully apply for this job:
* Experience of catering for up to 30 people to a high quality, dinner-party standard
* Good repertoire of dishes, including those suitable for vegetarians and guests with other dietary requirements
* Current food handling and preparation certification
* A good team-worker
* Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to take constructive criticism
* Adaptable and flexible, willing to put in long hours when required
Desirable Skills and Attributes
It is preferable that you have the following skills and attributes:
* A good knowledge of wine
* At least a basic knowledge of French
* Full, clean, UK driving licence
* Good skier or snowboarder |
