Commis Chef required for the beautiful Coombe Abbey Hotel outside Coventry.

Originally a 12th Century Cistercian Abbey nestling in England's historic heartland in Warwickshire, Coombe Abbey Hotel has been restored to its former glory, set within 500 acres of breathtaking parkland.

We pride ourselves on exceeding the expectations of our guests. Our hotel provides a unique, magical and almost certainly a memorable experience time and time again.

You are responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Prepare and present high quality dishes within company guidelines.

Complete preparation of produce as instructed
Assisting the brigade to ensure the kitchen operates to the expected standard
To keep updated on the full menu
Adhere to the cleaning schedule for the kitchen
To work as part of the wider restaurant team
Be able to give a description of dishes

Requirements

We require an enthusiastic and conscientious individual who is pastry orientated to work with a highly professional brigade. You will be working 5 days from 7 with a mixture of shifts to suit business demands. You will have:

• Previous background in a high quality food establishment
• Particular interest in pastry
• Cooking qualification essential
• Be able to work well under pressure
• Valid UK work permit
• A passion for food and cooking

There is NO live in available for this role therefore candidates must live locally.

Candidates without the right to work in the UK will NOT be considered.
